Which imagery can I buy?
You can search for optical and SAR satellite imagery by area and period, and buy the scenes that fit.
Imagery Purchase and Tasking lets you search for satellite imagery, buy it, and order new captures when nothing suitable exists yet.
Set an area of interest (AOI) and a period, and every matching scene appears in one list with a confirmed price. If no archived scene fits, you can order a new capture (tasking) or schedule recurring monitoring captures.
Key features
From searching your area to buying, ordering new captures, and downloading the files, everything follows one continuous flow on screen.
Choose an area of interest, a period, and an imagery type to search archive (already captured) imagery in one go. Scenes from several suppliers appear in a single list.
Imagery is priced by area (km²), and the confirmed price is shown before checkout, so you never pay without knowing the cost.
When the same scene is offered by several suppliers, the lowest-priced supplier is chosen automatically for the purchase.
When the imagery you need does not exist yet, set the area and capture conditions and order a new capture. The scene appears as ready to download once it is captured.
Schedule recurring captures of the same area so you can compare changes each time a new scene arrives.
Set quality thresholds such as cloud cover and viewing angle for a project. When a new capture misses them, you choose whether to accept it or have it re-shot, and you can request a re-capture if delivered imagery does not fit.
How it works
Pick an area and a period, search, confirm the price, buy or order a capture, and then receive your imagery.
Draw the area you want to watch on the map and choose the period and imagery type.
Browse the matching scenes and check the confirmed price for each one.
Buy the scene you want, or order a new capture if none fits. If your organization uses purchase approval, the order proceeds once it is approved.
Purchased imagery can be downloaded as files, and capture orders are fulfilled within the shooting window.
Imagery is priced by the area you buy (km²), and you see the confirmed price before you pay.
When several suppliers offer the same scene, the lowest-priced supplier is selected automatically. The screens and the way you receive the imagery stay the same whichever supplier fulfils it.
Duplicate purchases are blocked, so your organization does not buy a scene it already owns. If your organization uses purchase approval, only approved orders move on to payment.
Set cloud-cover and viewing-angle thresholds for a project; when a new capture misses them, you choose to accept it or have it re-shot.
How usable a satellite scene is depends on clouds and viewing angle. Archive imagery is filtered by conditions such as cloud cover when you search, and new captures are checked against the quality thresholds set for your project so you can accept them or have them re-shot.
A new capture order has a defined shooting window, and finished imagery can be downloaded as files. If a capture misses the criteria, you can request it again.
Optical and SAR imagery are supported, and you can choose them or use both together to fit your work.
Optical imagery shows the ground in colors much like what people see, which makes surface features easy to recognize. Clouds, however, hide the areas they cover.
SAR imagery can observe the surface through clouds and at night, which suits the time right after a disaster or watching the sea. Imagery your organization already holds can be uploaded for the same analyses.
Bought imagery flows straight into AI analysis to find changes, and closed networks use the desktop app.

No. Duplicate purchases are blocked, so scenes your organization already owns are not bought again.
Purchased imagery can be downloaded as files, and it is kept in your organization data vault.
